Making summer plans?

Summer is coming.  I am seeing in increasing number, ideas for fun summer activities to do with children.  The blogs I read and the Pinterest boards I follow are filling up with great suggestions.  Since our thoughts seem to naturally turn to summer plans at this time of year, I thought I’d chime in with a great idea of my own….

So you can find here an amazing resource for summer- or anytime- fun!

  1. Oh my Kari, I can't even think about summer yet! Even though today's temperatures reached 90 degrees here. Felt wonderful and odd at the same time. I'll have to check out your resource. God bless!

Perhaps I'm a bit slow, but I didn't know you wrote a book or was featured in Catholic Digest. Congratulations!!!!! Now I want to read it.

    1. Noreen- The kids and I have only about 4 more weeks of school left and they are practically counting down already- I guess that is why I can't help but think of summer. It really will be here before we now it!

I would be honored to share my book with you. Writing and self-publishing it were answers to a life long dream for me and I truly felt the Holy Spirit guiding it all the way. If you'd like to e-mail me at kari@thelifeidream[dot}com I can let you know more about it all.

      God Bless, Kari

  2. Hi dear friend! I've been away for so very long...I think I've got a lot of catching up to do! We celebrated First Holy Communion last weekend and I feel like I can finally breathe I'm REAllY looking forward to summer!!! Your resource looks like an awesome list of things to do and places to see...of course I giggled when I read about the decimating of the stickers!!! Sounds like Mary Catherine and me!!! :) Hugs.

    1. Valerie- I feel the same way. My posts the last two weeks have been quick and short b/c I, too, was busy with 1st Communion.

My son was the one decimating the stickers. he and his oldest sister have the perfect example of a typical sibling relationship. One minute they are best friends and the next they are looking for opportunities to rile each other up! :) They keep me on my toes- that's for sure.

Hope you get your chance to catch your breath and enjoy the few weeks until summer is officially upon us!

      God Bless, Kari
